Anna Sawai x Dior Event #2: Paris Fashion Week
For Anna’s next Dior Event, Anh crafted a textured wet bun with a modern edge—here’s how you can re-create it.
1. Prep & Section
Divide the hair into front and back sections to work in parts. Apply Milbon&’s Froth Blowout Foam and blow dry to prep the hair with control and flexibility.
2. Create the Ponytail
Gather the back section into a low ponytail and layer Milbon&’s Froth Blowout Foam and Milbon’s Molding Wax #7. Use your hands to keep the texture soft and natural, then refine and smooth flyaways with a rat-tail comb.
3. Work the Front Pieces
Reach back for Froth Blowout Foam and Molding Wax #7 and apply through the front sections. Smooth them back into the ponytail for a sleek, wet effect.
4. Form the Bun
Twist the ponytail into a bun, keeping the texture visible rather than overly tight. Secure with pins, adjusting as needed for balance between polish and texture.
5. Finish & Detail
Use Molding Wax #7 on surface flyaways for definition. For more shine, add extra Froth Blowout Foam to enhance the “wet” finish.
