Whitney Etoroma x Issey Miyaki: Paris Fashion Week
Anh styled Whitney Etoroma for her appearance at the Issey Miyaki show during Paris Fashion Week. Whitney is a wardrobe stylist who Anh has collaborated with on past projects and Anh had a lot of fun bringing her bold vision to life. Anh created a multi-textured braided look—an effortless mix of braids and movement finished with natural shine. Here’s the full breakdown below.
1. Prep & Base
Starting on damp hair, apply Milbon’s Wave Enhancing Mousse #4 for hold and definition.
2. Create Braids
Take small, varied sections throughout the hair and braid sporadically for an undone, organic feel. In the back, mix different braid types: classic three-strand, Dutch, fishtail, rope, and four-strand braids. In the front sections, incorporate a few French and Dutch braids to frame the face.
3. Add Texture
Keep the braids loose rather than tight, then gently pull and roughen them to create texture and movement.
4. Finish & Dry
Scrunch Milbon’s Brilliant Polishing Oil into the hair for sheen and separation. Diffuse until dry to enhance the natural texture and bring the look together.
