Rei Ami x Sandro: Paris Fashion Week Hair Look Breakdown
For the Sandro show at Paris Fashion Week FW26, Rei Ami wore sleek, runway-inspired hair. She opted for a glossy wet look that created a striking contrast to her other styles throughout the week. Here’s how Anh Co Tran created the look.
1. Prepping The Hair
To start, Anh applied three palmfuls of Milbon&’s Monochromatic Froth Blowout Foam evenly throughout Rei’s hair and blow dried it smooth. The Froth Blowout Foam helped create body while smoothing frizz and protecting the hair during heat styling.
Because Rei has bangs, Anh created a clean center part and carefully blow dried the front sections downward so that the bangs blended naturally into the rest of her hair. This technique helped disguise her fringe while maintaining a seamless silhouette through the front.
2. Creating The Base
Once the blowout was complete, Anh smoothed the hair further using a flat iron to ensure a sleek base.
To add fullness and length, he then installed clip-in extensions throughout the hair. Anh lightly teased each extension for extra volume and sealed it with a mist of Milbon’s Flex Memory Hold Hairspray 7.
3. Setting The Shape
Next, Anh applied another layer of Froth Blowout Foam, working the product through the hair in the direction he wanted the style to lay. He then used creaseless clips to hold the hair in place while it set.
Once the hair was set, Anh created the glossy finish by mixing Milbon’s Molding Wax 5 and Molding Wax 7 with Wet Shine Gel Cream 8. Using a comb and tint brush, he applied the mixture of styling products through the top of the head, carefully directing the hair so it flowed smoothly in the intended direction.
Anh then added creaseless clips once more to hold the hair in place while it set, ensuring a controlled and refined finish.
4. Finishing the Look
To finalize the style, Anh tucked the hair neatly behind Rei’s ear and secured it with a bobby pin for maximum hold.
He then sealed the entire look with Milbon’s Firm Hold Shielding Hairspray 10 to lock everything in place.
The Final Result
The finished style featured sleek, straight hair with a glossy finish. Rei’s look was polished and refined, perfectly complementing her appearance at the Sandro FW26 runway during Paris Fashion Week.
