Anna Sawai Emmy’s Weekend Looks
Anh created two gorgeous looks for Anna Sawai during the Emmys weekend. Keep reading to see how Anh created both looks.
Pre-Emmy Look: Relaxed Volume and Waves
The first look Anh created for Anna Sawai was a voluminous, relaxed wave look that felt effortless yet refined.
1. Prep & Blowout
Starting on dry hair, Anh applied two palmfuls of Milbon&’s Froth Blowout Foam throughout her hair. He followed this with a blow-dry to build volume and create a smooth foundation.
2. Style & Texture
Using a marcel iron he created a mix of Nu Waves and Lived-In Waves. Anh curled sections with alternating directions to create a soft, natural texture.
3. Define & Finish
For the final steps, Anh applied Milbon&’s Velvet Texturizing Cream to the ends for separation and a lived-in finish. Next, he added Milbon&’s Puff Finishing Paste to the roots for body and lift. For a flexible, touchable hold, Anh misted the hair with Milbon’s Strong Hold Hairspray #7 to complete the look.
Emmy Night Look: Effortless Elegance
For the Emmys, Anh styled Anna in a timeless, effortless down look to complement her Armani gown that was youthful, chic, and understated.
1. Prep & Wave
On dry hair, he applied Froth Blowout Foam for light hold and texture. He then used a marcel curling iron to create Nu Waves for soft, fluid movement.
2. Add Extensions
He then added one Extensionology Tailored Weft (Color 1B), custom-made into clip-ins, to enhance fullness and length while keeping the look natural.
3. Shape & Detail
Anh styled a center part for symmetry and polish. Then, he tucked both sides behind the ears for a clean, modern frame.
4. Finish
He applied Velvet Texturizing Cream to the ends for hydration and definition. And to seal in the look, Anh misted with Milbon’s Extra Strong Hold Hairspray #10 for shine and lasting control.
