Anna Sawai SAG Awards 2025: Look Breakdown

Anna Sawai stunned the Red Carpet at the SAG awards. Her hair was the perfect complement to her beautiful red dress—delivering glamour with a long-lasting finish. Here’s everything you need to know about how Anh styled her hair and how you can recreate it yourself.

How Anh Created Anna’s Look

  1. Anh built the foundation for Anna’s look using Milbon&’s Monochromatic Froth Blowout Foam, applying six palm-sized amounts on damp hair to ensure structure and hold.
  2. He followed that with a pump of Milbon’s Reawaken Renewing Primer through the ends to boost hydration and shine before rough drying and smoothing out the hair to prep for styling.
  3. Once dried, Anh then added waves and sealed them with a pea-sized amount of Velvet Texturizing Cream on the ends for soft definition, another product from the Monochromatic Collection.
  4. The final step: a mist of Milbon’s Extra Strong Hold Hairspray 10 at the roots to keep the style intact all night long.

Tips for Recreating it Yourself

The secret is in the prep. Load up on Froth for hold and lift, especially if you want your style to last through an evening event. After drying, use a flat iron to create waves—it’s the easiest tool to get that modern, effortless texture. Finish with Velvet on the ends for a natural, piecey look and lock it in with a root-targeted hairspray.

Anh emphasized the importance of root control—by spraying a strong hold hairspray directly at the root area, he ensured the style stayed in place without sacrificing movement. It’s a subtle but powerful trick for polished, professional-level hold.
