Bruna Marquezine x Gucci: Milan Fashion Week Look Breakdown
Bruna Marquezine looked stunning at the Gucci show during Milan Fashion Week. Anh Co Tran styled her hair with voluminous, bouncy waves for the occasion. Here’s how he created the look.
The Foundation
Anh began by applying Milbon&’s Monochromatic Froth Blowout Foam throughout damp hair, followed by Milbon’s Anti-Frizz Humidity Blocking Oil on the ends. He rough-dried the hair, then flipped it over and continued blow-drying from underneath to build body and volume. He finished by establishing Bruna’s natural middle part.
The Waves
For her iconic look, Anh created a combination of two curl styles: his signature horizontal Nu Waves and classic Hollywood curls, being sure to tuck the ends in. As he curled, he emphasized the crown to create lift and body.
With the curl pattern complete, Anh clipped in two extension pieces – placed on either side and extending toward the back – to further enhance fullness. He trimmed the extensions to blend seamlessly with her hair length. He then refined the Nu Wave pattern to build volume, lifting the ends for a softer, more feminine finish.
Finishing Touches
On the front pieces, Anh created additional Nu Waves to frame Bruna’s face. He then misted Milbon’s Weightless Dry Texture Spray 4 throughout the hair to add body and texture.
For a voluminous finish, Anh worked Monochromatic Puff Finishing Paste into the crown for extra lift and through the ends for light, airy texture. He finished her look with Milbon’s Flex Memory Hairspray 7 to seal the style in place.
The final result was a glamorous, airy bob with bouncy waves and lots of movement. The style perfectly complemented her Gucci look for the show.
