Sarah, Sarah, Sarah! Anh had the opportunity to create a lovely look for Sarah Paulson for this year’s Oscars red carpet! They decided on a deep side parted pixie that’s slicked off to the side. It’s a simple yet elegant look that paired beautifully with the rest of her ensemble. What’s nice about this look is that it’s extremely versatile so you can either dress it up or down which is always a plus.

Here’s how to re-create Sarah’s look!

 

STEP 1:

Apply a good amount of Weightless Replenishing Mist on damp hair. This will help to prep the hair by providing heat protection while also giving the hair body and boosting shine.

STEP 2:

Apply 2 pumps of Anti Frizz Humidity Oil and apply all throughout the hair.

STEP 3:

Apply 2 pumps of Restorative Blowout Primer and apply all throughout the hair.

STEP 4:

Establish a deep side part in the hair. Left or right! It’s your choosing, there’re no wrongs here. 

STEP 5:

Take a barrel brush and smooth out the hair to make it straight.

STEP 6:

Flat iron the ends of the hair to achieve a clean, sleek look.

STEP 7:

Apply a bit of the Satin Texturizing Cream 3 in sections and comb through the hair.

Pro Tip: you’ll need to apply it in sections in order for the cream to work its way through the hair, become pliable for ease of styling and to ensure that the satin finish is evenly distributed.

 

STEP 8:

Apply a pea sized amount of the Matte Texturizing Paste 8 to define the look and make sure to tuck the excess hair on the sides behind the ear.

STEP 9:

Finish the look off with the Extra Strong Hold 10 to instantly lock every strand in place.
