Big hairy scene: International celebrity stylist hosts Edmonton workshops

It’s called Lived In Hair (and yes, there’s a trademark for that), and it’s arguably the biggest hair trend in the salon world. Stylists flew to Edmonton from across the country Sunday for two days of workshops  to learn how to execute the look at the hand of its master, Ahn Co Tran.

The Beverly Hills stylist, who has done the hair of celebrities from Gwyneth Paltrow to Anne Hathaway, conducted the training sessions at Blue Gemini Hair Studio. The Terwillegar salon is owned by sisters Samantha Truong and Paulina Truong, who lobbied Tran’s hair sponsor, L’Oreal Group, for two years to secure the event.
