This stunning before and after is a showcase of Anh’s classic undercut with layers to add movement, texture and reduce weight from the model’s hair. The undercut technique is perfect for removing weight from hair that is thick and has a tendency to look weighed down and lifeless. By removing weight from the underneath layers, Anh is able to maintain length and volume while giving the hair a fresh look. For this style, he used a mix of the Lived in Wave and NuWave techniques and used DePolish from L’Oeral Professionnel on the ends to give them directional movement. For root lift, spray Next Day Hair and gently scrunch the hair at the roots for an edgy grit.
