Global Monochromatic Launch Events
In exciting events this spring, the NEW MONOCHROMATIC COLLECTION has officially launched: co-developed styling essentials between Milbon& and Anh Co Tran.
What makes this collaboration so special is that the products are offered on a global level. This is the first time in 65+ years that Milbon has taken strides into launching a product that is globally recognized. Even more, this collection is the first of its kind for Milbon to collaborate with a professional stylist on products, from research and development through packaging design and brand story creation.

Anh is so honored to be part of this journey with Milbon, and to commemorate the new product launch, Anh had the pleasure of recently traveling to Japan and Germany to participate in their special Monochromatic Collection launch events.
SEMINARS IN JAPAN
Anh was excited to be in Osaka and Yokohama for the product launch in March where he taught multiple seminars to local stylists. The focus of these seminars was to explore how Monochromatic can be used and empower the participating stylists to find their own way in creating effortless hair that’s authentic to their style and brand. Anh showcased his signature Lived-In hair look using the Monochromatic Collection, giving each stylist the opportunity to ask expert questions and walk away with inspiration on how they too can create their own versions of effortless styles on their clients. Expert Japanese stylists, who had learned about the collection under Anh in an intimate hands-on seminar last fall, then gave their own presentations to demonstrate their interpretations of creating effortless styles with Monochromatic.
Anh shares how exciting it was to witness how Monochromatic seamlessly adapts to different styles and aesthetics, reflecting the true global potential of these products. Monochromatic is more than a collection of products–it’s a lifestyle concept. The products are easy to use, allowing stylists to create their own styles freely and without limitation–there’s no wrong way or right way to use this collection.

HAIR SHOW IN GERMANY
Following the seminars in Japan, Anh had the privilege to teach at Milbon Germany’s launch event for the Monochromatic Collection in Düsseldorf. In an exciting hair show event, Anh showcased three looks on stage using each product from the collection–Froth Blowout Foam, Velvet Texturizing Cream, and Puff Finishing Paste–to a packed audience of stylists, educators, and liked-minded creatives. The direction of his looks evoked dramatic transformations, where he deconstructed up-do styles and recreated his signature lived-in looks, from Nu Waves to the ‘90s Blowout, using Monochromatic. Anh notes that being able to present the new collection to such a passionate community was something he’ll never forget.
Following the hair show, Anh taught an intimate hands-on class with select participants from the show so that they could gain an even greater understanding of the Monochromatic Collection and how they can create their own styles. The new collection is rooted in versatility, and hearing how this philosophy truly resonated across cultures was very inspiring.
