SPOTTED: JEssica biel SPORTING ‘COMBO’ WAVES for paris fashion week!

Paris is the hub of everything effortless and where the saying ‘less is more’ really rings true. ‘Lived-in’ hair is so much more than loose waves, it represents minimalism and tapping into that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ everyone has; and what a better way for ‘Lived-in’ hair to shine then to have it in it’s natural element, Paris!

If you’re thinking about creating ‘COMBO’ waves for your next paris trip…or just because, then here’s a quick look breakdown:

Step 1

Spray a few pumps of Weightless Replenishing Mist onto damp hair.

Step 2

For added texture and movement spritz a bit of Texturizing Sea Mist 3 on the roots and the mid-shaft.

Step 3

Blow dry the hair out in a “C” motion to create volume.

Creating COMBO WAVES:

Step 4

We’re going to start by creating Nu-waves in the front. Take a section from the top of the head to the top of the ear.

Step 5

Take your 1.25in Pro Marcel Iron and start with the front section and begin creating Nu-waves from the bottom up.

PRO TIP: To create Nu-waves it’s important to remember to glide the iron in and out to create undulating waves. Keep your motions soft and smooth. Alternate your waves over and under to create dimension and texture.

Step 6

Continuing with your iron create Lived in waves going forward.

PRO TIP: For “Lived-in” waves, start by taking a one inch section of hair, placing your iron at the base and wrap, keeping the curl at the base of the iron. Keep the ends of the section out of the iron for a more Lived-in look. Slowly release the curl while tapping the iron through the ends to polish the hair.
