JESSICA BIEL X THE DREW BARRYMORE SHOW

Jessica Biel is a well-accomplished actress, most known for her role as Mary Camden in the late 90’s drama series ‘7th Heaven’. Her latest work includes a chilling new crime thriller series based on the true story of Candy Montgomery on Hulu.

For her guest appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, her and Anh decided on a ‘Lived-in Grunge’ look!

Here’s a Quick look breakdown for her guest appearance:

Step 1

Spray a few pumps of Weightless Replenishing Mist onto damp hair.

Step 2

On the roots and the mid-shaft spritz a bit of Thickening Mist 4.

Step 3

Blow dry the hair out in a “C” motion to create volume.

Step 4

Wave the hair:

Pro Tip: Anh used two different techniques here to achieve this look. He used a combination of both Nu-waves and “Lived-in” waves with the Anh x Sultra 1.25in Pro Marcel Iron.

For Nu Waves: Take about one inch horizontal sections of the hair. Glide the iron in and out to create undulating waves. Keep your motions soft and smooth. Alternate your waves over and under to create dimension and texture.

For Lived-in Waves: For “Lived-in” waves, start by taking a one inch section of hair, placing your iron at the base and wrap, keeping the curl at the base of the iron. Keep the ends of the section out of the iron for a more ‘Lived-in’ look. Slowly release the curl while tapping the iron through the ends to polish the hair. Alternate the waves in different directions on different sections for a more beachy look!

Be sure to layer these waves on top of each other to create a newer, complex hair texture.

Step 5

Blend the waves together by combing through the hair with a wide tooth comb.

Step 6

Spray Strong Hold Hairspray 7 all over the hair to lock every stand in place.

Step 7

Spray the hair with a bit of Dry Texturizing Spray 4 on the roots and ends for added texture.
