MILBON ORIGIN STORY: PART 5

The trip ended with a day in Kyoto for the ideal Japanese experience!

The day started off with both ikebana and a traditional Japanese tea ceremony. The tea ceremony encapsulates traditional Japanese philosophies of being detail-oriented and compassionate for others – the attitude that underlies the foundation of Milbon.

After the ceremony, the team learned how to dye textiles. This activity was extremely interesting to experience, especially since the painting changes color in the light! It gets brighter when light hits the silk. It was beautiful to witness in real time.

Kyoto is one of Anh’s absolute favorite cities. He finds that there is a certain magnetism and dreaminess that he constantly craves. “Somehow, some way I always find myself back there, and every time I go, I leave with a new list of amazing memories.”

Japan, the team will be back!
