Christine Ko for NYFW

Actress Christine Ko stuns yet again, but this time in an all-white Alex + Olivia ensemble along with gorgeous Horizontal waves for NYFW.
What are Horizontal waves?

Horizontal waves are a type of wave that’s created by holding the iron horizontally while wrapping the hair around the base of the iron to add dimension. This type of wave is not to be confused with “Nu”-waves that are undulating in nature.

Anh chose these types of waves for Christine’s appearance due to the fact that the look is the perfect balance between a classic Hollywood wave and a ’90s blowout. The ends aren’t tucked in and are left out, which helps to create a very soft and effortless final result.

Continue below for a breakdown of Christine’s look
Step 1

Start by spraying the hair with Milbon’s Weightless Replenishing Mist to protect the hair against heat, detangle it with ease, and boost the hair’s shine.

Step 2

Then use Milbon’s Thickening Mist 4 on roots to ends to protect hair from heat damage and boost control during blowouts.

Step 3

Blow dry and smooth out the hair.

Pro Tip: for even more volume, flip the head over when blow drying.

Now on to styling.
Step 4

With a 1.5-inch Pro Marcel curling iron, hold the curling iron horizontally and wrap the hair around to create Horizontal waves.

Step 5

Spray the hair with Milbon’s Strong Hold Hairspray 7 to begin setting the look.

Step 6

Brush the hair and set the curls to your desired shape with a wide tooth comb.

Step 7

Spray the hair with Milbon’s Strong Hold Hairspray 10 to set the whole entire look.

Et Voila!
